Crinum asiaticum 'Xanthophyllum' or 'Golden Crinum'

Crinum asiaticum 'Xanthophyllum' of 'Golden Crinum', is native to southeast Asia. Because of its yellow leaves a striking plant in the garden. It does not do well in Curaçao when irrigated with well water. The plant does not withstand brackish water well. It also asks for a moist/humid environment, so keep out of the wind as much as possible and rinse well every now and then, also flush the surrounding soil with tap water to get rid of accumulated salts in the root zone.

The plant can grow up to 90 cm (35"). Can be in full sun and partly in the shade.
