Coccothrinax borhidiana

Coccothrinax borhidiana is a very slow growing palm from Cuba. In Florida there are very few nurseries where they are grown. Because it grows very slow it is an expensive palm. It is family of the better-known 'Old man palm' (C. crinita). The leaves are very close to each other almost covering the trunk completely.

In Curaçao this palm is used at the most in two private gardens.
