Ficus nitida

Ficus nitida is a large shadetree with many aerial roots reaching to the ground. These grow into the ground and in this way form new support trunks for the long branches.

Like all Ficus trees, this one also needs enough space as it grows a very wide crown. The roots of all Ficus trees grow very superficially and there for can damage paths and roads, the sewage system, the floors inside the house, etc.

It gives small round fruits.
