Hesperaloe parviflora or Red Yucca

De bladeren hebben fijne witte haren aan de bladranden. De plant kan 80 tot 90 cm hoog worden.

Hesperaloe parviflora aka Red Yucca is a drought tolerant plant, that is used as an alternative for Agavas and Yuccas, because it does not have sharp thorns. It can withstand high temperatures and good to use here in xeriscape gardens. 

The inflorescence can grow up to 1 mtr (3 ft) and usually bears red and some times yellow flowers, which attrackets hummingbirds.

The leaves have fine white hairs arround the edges. It can grow up to 80-90 cm (30-35").
